🌅 Sunset kayak along the La Palma coast. An experience to watch the sun set over the Atlantic as you paddle beneath the cliffs of Tijarafe, snack included.
The sunset tour is our most magical experience. We paddle along the coast of Tijarafe as the sun approaches the horizon, creating a spectacle of colours that can only be experienced from the water.
We paddle along the Tijarafe coast as the sun sinks into the Atlantic. The cliffs are bathed in golden and orange tones, and the water reflects the last rays of the day.
Small groups of up to 8 people for an intimate and personalised experience. Afterwards, we share a snack while enjoying the last light of the day.
Duration
The experience usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. We adapt to the group's pace: if someone needs to head back earlier, no problem, and if the evening is magic we stay a little longer. What matters is making the most of the sunset.

🚻 We have a toilet with running water. Right down at Porís de Candelaria, it is available to you for anything you need before or after paddling. No worries.

Tips
We recommend comfortable clothing, swimwear, sunscreen and a long-sleeved shirt for when it cools down at sunset. You do not need a camera: your guide takes photos and videos of the trip.
Safety
Your safety is our priority. All participants receive a life jacket and a safety briefing. The sea at sunset is usually very calm.
How to get to Porís de Candelaria
Access is via a narrow, winding road with a steep gradient and very limited parking, so it may not be comfortable for every driver.

We work with Jessica, a trusted local taxi driver with plenty of experience on the way down to Porís, who offers pick-up and drop-off from Tijarafe. It is an optional service and is not included in the activity price; the cost depends on the number of participants who use the taxi.
It is best to arrange it in advance: message us on WhatsApp and we will help you organise it, so after the kayak you can enjoy the sunset at Porís without rushing.

Frequently asked questions
It's my first time kayaking, is it difficult?
No previous experience is required. Our guides give an initial briefing and assess conditions before every trip. Participants must be able to swim, be at least 5 years old and have reasonable fitness; the trip depends on conditions and the guide’s decision.
Do I need to be very fit?
You don't need to be an athlete. Reasonable fitness is required for the paddling portion of the sunset route.
Should I bring my phone or camera?
Not really necessary. Your guide takes photos and videos during the route, so you can forget about your phone and enjoy the experience to the full.
What happens if the weather changes?
If the sea doesn't cooperate, we reschedule at no cost. Safety comes first.
Can I go with children?
Yes, from age 5, provided they can swim. Children share a kayak with an adult and we give them a life jacket in their size.
What if I get seasick?
If you are prone to seasickness, tell the guide before the activity and consult a doctor or pharmacist beforehand.
How long does the activity last?
