Each experience, in detail
Before you confirm your booking, take a closer look at what's waiting for you. Each activity has its own personality — from the calm of paddling along volcanic cliffs to the unrepeatable colours of a Canarian sunset, or hiking surprise routes that show you corners of the island most visitors never reach.
We launch from the small harbour of Porís de Candelaria, on the western coast of La Palma, and paddle in tandem kayaks past sheer volcanic walls until we reach Cueva Bonita — a natural sea cathedral where sunlight bounces off the water and lights up the inside of the cave with turquoise reflections. The route is suitable for anyone in reasonable shape, with no previous experience needed. You'll have a qualified instructor, full equipment (kayak, paddle, life jacket) and a safety briefing before launching. Duration: roughly 1.5 to 2 hours.
Same route to Cueva Bonita, but at the end of the day — when the sun drops behind the horizon and the La Palma coast turns orange, pink and violet. It's the favourite of those looking for more than just an excursion: a visual experience that's hard to repeat. Once back at the dock we offer a typical Canarian snack to round off the evening. Departure time is adjusted weekly to match the actual sunset hour in La Palma. Duration: roughly 2 to 2.5 hours.
If you'd rather walk and let yourself be guided, this one's for you. Every Saturday we pick a different route across La Palma — Los Tilos laurel forest, Caldera de Taburiente, Roque de los Muchachos, northern trails, eastern viewpoints — and we don't tell you which until Friday at 5:00 PM. You'll get a message with the meeting point, the difficulty level, what to bring and the estimated duration. The idea is to break free of the standard tourist itinerary and reach corners hardly anyone gets to see. Limited spots, local guide, transport coordinated.
